Praise from Past Programs...

“You turned magic into seamless magical storytelling. Your program was extraordinary in linking children with books.”

- Terry Farish, Coordinator of Children's Services, Lawrence Public Library, Lawrence, MA

“Mike Bent knows what children love. He engaged the children as they entered the room and involved many of them in the show. His non-stop program is entertaining for all ages. Several books were incorporated into the show from Rainbow Fish for little ones to Holes for older children. The magic had the children open-mouthed or howling with hysteria. They all fell in love with the rabbit puppet, who was the hit of the show.”

- Kathleen D. Hutchins, Head of Youth Services, J.V. Fletcher Library, Westford, MA

“I heard your show was a resounding success from not only the staff but also numerous parents who came back to the Library on Saturday. They loved your performance and that, to me, is a great testament to a true professional. Words like "awesome" and "really great" were used by kids. I love to hear that.”

- Mary Ellen Siniak , Senior Librarian for Youth Services, Seekonk Public Library

"Mike Bent's "Ticket to Read" program fit in perfectly with our library's Summer Reading Program. In a nutshell, he was fabulous! He kept even the smallest children entertained at all times (not an easy feat!) and the older kids simply could not take their eyes off him. Even the adults found themselves laughing out loud, especially at Mike's furry friend, his little white rabbit puppet who lives in the black top hat. Mike is a true gem in the field of storytelling. He clearly knows his audiences, and how to perform for children of all ages. I myself will never forget Mike's reading of Goodnight Moon, accompanied by his funny little bunny! Everyone had a great time, and I would love to have Mike perform at our library again!”
